You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days<\/strong> without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.<\/p>\n

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Gerald Dri\u00dfner * Postfach 35 03 30 * D-10212 Berlin * E-Mail: problem@pochemuchka-books.com) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You can \u2013 but are not required to \u2013 use the cancellation form template appended to this cancellation policy.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

You will be deemed to have complied with the aforementioned cancellation period if your letter, fax or email notifying us of the use of your right of cancellation was sent prior to the expiry of the cancellation period.<\/p>\n

Consequences of cancellation<\/em><\/p>\n

If you cancel this contract we are required to pay back all payments we have received from you (including delivery costs but excluding additional costs incurred as a result of you selecting a different delivery type to the standard, lowest cost delivery type we offer) without delay and within a maximum period of fourteen days from the date on which we receive your correspondence notifying us of your cancellation of this contract. Repayment occurs using the same payment type you used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed with you; you will not be charged any fees in connection with repayment. We may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earliest.<\/p>\n

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case within fourteen days at the latest from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.<\/p>\n

You bear the direct costs of returning<\/strong> the goods.<\/p>\n

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.<\/p>\n

Exclusion and premature expiry of the right of cancellation<\/em><\/p>\n

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts<\/p>\n

    \n
  • for the delivery of goods which are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;<\/li>\n
  • for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded;<\/li>\n
  • for the delivery of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed upon conclusion of the contract, but which can be delivered at the earliest 30 days after conclusion of the contract and the current value of which depends on fluctuations in the market over which the entrepreneur has no influence;<\/li>\n
  • for the delivery of newspapers, magazines or periodicals with the exception of subscription contracts.<\/li>\n
  • The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts
    for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery;<\/li>\n
  • for the delivery of goods if they have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery due to their nature;<\/li>\n
  • for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
